Abstract

Moon From Earth was commissioned by Sound World for the Zelkova string quartet. It was written to accompany a newly made film by We the Curious to celebrate the Apollo 11 moon landings. It is part of a larger project titled 'In the Steps of Apollo', which features five new compositions to film. It was performed at We the Curious in Bristol on 20th July, 2nd August and 30th August 2019.
