About the Repository

UWL Repository was launched in June 2012 as a digital archive showcasing the research, scholarly and enterprise output of University of West London staff and research students.

All staff members and doctoral students can deposit material, subject to editorial process. Deposit is a straightforward process and help is available via the 'Author Guidance' tab, accessible from any page on the Repository.

Content can include, but is not limited to, journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, theses, audio, and video.

Staff who wish to deposit can login with their university username and password. Doctoral students who wish to deposit should use their student number as their username. Please contact open.access@uwl.ac.uk for assistance.

Repository deposit widens the visibility and accessibility of research, potentially increases the impact of your work, and provides a complete record of the university’s research outputs. Using the repository also allows UWL researchers to meet the requirements of the UWL Publications Policy as well as the open access policy for the next REF.
