Abstract
The global prevalence of diabetes and its impact on patient wellbeing have been raised by several health authorities. Despite the high prevalence of diabetes, it is often detected during routine medical investigation. Diabetes UK (2021) states that diabetes is a serious medical condition affecting one in 15 people in the United Kingdom, including one million with type 2 diabetes that are undiagnosed. The rising prevalence of diabetes and its associated complications in some patients when they are diagnosed presents a major health challenge.
