Abstract

A sequence of works to be performed either as an integrated sequence or separately, and suitable for use either as recital items or as liturgical voluntaries. The hymn tunes providing the seminal themes are respectively 'Iste Confessor', 'Slane' and 'King's Lynn'. All three tunes are of traditional provenance and anonymous in origin.
