Abstract
Vaggione's writing for the piano exhibits a baroque-like integrity of style and form. The key elements: pointillism, two-part writing, block chords, silence and the use of pedals are first examined separately, and then in combination. Finally, an effective learning method for the challenge of combining piano with electronics is suggested
