Abstract
Sacred cantata for mixed chorus and organ. The work interrogates the meaning and significance of the Gospels in a postmodern age, interspersing settings of five poems by R.S.Thomas (1913-2000) with hymn-like passages from St John's Prologue in the New Revised Standard Version.
