Abstract

The use of podcasts as a tool for education and professional
development has increased in popularity in recent years, and
healthcare workers are no exception. With the ever-evolving
nature of healthcare and the need for continuous learning,
healthcare professionals are turning to podcasts as a convenient
andflexible way to stay informed and current. Here, we explore the
use of podcasts by healthcare workers, with a focus on their
effectiveness in improving knowledge, skills, and practice.
Through an unstructured review of the literature, we examined
the benefits and challenges of using podcasts in healthcare
education in our field, as well as the factors that influence their use.
We have also highlighted the potential for podcasts to support
interprofessional collaboration and knowledge-sharing among
healthcare teams and the role they can play in enhancing patient
outcomes.
