Abstract

G2- and Spin(7)-manifolds come with Ricci-flat metrics. When looking for (explicit) examples, it is natural to include symmetry assumptions. This talk will focus on torus symmetry, using multi-moment maps to capture the orbit space. I will discuss what we currently know about these "toric" G2-manifolds and Spin(7)-manifolds.
