It will be remembered as the year of the journal’s title update [1], a strategic move aimed at strengthening identity, improving discoverability, and ensuring clarity of purpose for researchers and practitioners worldwide. This initiative aligns with the foundational objectives of the ICNDT Strategic Plan [2], which advocates for global harmonisation and greater visibility of NDT to drive the scientific innovation and multidisciplinary research essential for global safety.
