Abstract

This research was kindly commissions by Vision.

The main objective of this research is to improve police handing of victims with multiple identities of hate crime at
reporting stage, thereby supporting the mental health recovery of these victims. The project considered the specific nuances which are experienced by hate crime victims with multiple identities and thereby the challenges they face when reporting their victimisation.
Hence, the project had considered two main research questions:
1. The types and impact of hate crime victimisation endured by victims with multiple identities.
2. The experiences of victims of hate crime with multiple identities at reporting stage.
