Abstract

It is believed that small cells will play a very important role in future networks to meet the high user requirements in traffic volume, frequency efficiency, and energy and cost reduction. The small cell network is a new paradigm for successful deployment of m-health applications aimed at enhancing the medical Quality of Service (m-QoS) and medical Quality of Experience (m-QoE). This paper dilates upon the impact of 4G and beyond small cell heterogeneous networks for medical video streaming. Moreover, two system models are introduced hereafter. The proposed m-QoE learning and decision model based on Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) takes into account context, content and network related parameters to give estimated m-QoE as an output.
