Abstract

In a software development project, localization is a sub-process attached to the actual development process. Depending on the applied development methodology, this might come with its own challenges. In this paper, we examine how interplay between and implementation of localization process and software development methodology can lead to localization issues. A taxonomy of issues is suggested and their possible relations to project processes and properties are discussed.
