Abstract

Sustainable care and support policy is required for rural elderly to improve their health and wellbeing. Sustainability of ageing policy is underexplored in literature and until recently little is known how this can be developed within the complex social and cultural contexts. The talk will share some solid evidence from Bangladesh about a sustainable rural model in gerontology.
